Paint More in '26 Challenge

This past week I participated in this painting challenge. It was for Artist, non-professional artist, everyone. It was supposed to be an opportunity to just paint, paint freely without overthinking. For those who wanted to try a new style, just learning to paint, those who haven't painted in a while, etc. The challenge was 5 days, a live class, we all had the same subject matter and only 26 mins each painting! Now, juggling cake orders and my hectic lifestyle, I ended up cramming all 5 paintings in within 1 hr 30 mins. Thank God we had replays for the week, so I watched and painted 1 after the other. Then I went in afterwards to actually pay attention to the lessons. I definitely want to revisit these. I didn't have the specific colors the instructor used, so I rushed to mix my paints to get through the course. So working with my color palette is on my to do list, especially being that color theory is right up my alley! I'm proud of myself for getting them done tho. That was the most important to me, getting that paint on the canvas.

Anyhow, I really enjoyed the course and the group of people in the program. It was nice to see everyone's painting's, read their background, supporting one another.
